Transport Action operates as a federation of five regional associations, each concerned with local and regional issues:

• Prairies (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba)
• Ontario
• Quebec (Transport 2000)
• Atlantic (New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland)

• Le Groupe TRAQ (Transport by Rail in Quebec) promotes rail development and history in Quebec.
